BeLucky Padel Club Tournament

What it’s actually like playing a padel tournament (BeLucky x Rocket Padel)

Padel’s one of those sports you don’t fully understand until you’re in it.

The noise.
The energy.
The constant rallies.

And when you step into a tournament environment, whether a local one or not, it hits differently.

A night at Rocket Padel, Beckton

We headed down to Rocket Padel Beckton for a BeLucky event, and straight away, you could feel it.

It wasn’t just people turning up to play.

It was a proper community.

Players chatting between games.
People watching from the side of the courts.
Brands connecting with the people.
Everyone just… into it.

That’s what makes padel different.

The format: americano

We played an Americano format, which is a fast-paced, competitive, and relentless structure.

You’re constantly rotating partners.
Constantly adapting.
Constantly playing.

No time to settle.

Just two hours of solid padel.

I even ended up finishing third, which says a lot about the level on the night.

Wearing the brand before launch

This was a big one for us.

First proper chance to wear Padel Source in a real environment.

Not staged.
Not a photoshoot.
Actual match play.

And straight away, you notice the difference.

Movement feels natural.
No adjusting mid-point.
No distractions.

That’s when it clicks, why this matters.

More than just a tournament

What stood out most wasn’t just the matches.

It was the people. We met:

  • SX Padel: who are supporting the space with quality accessories
  • TrustPadel: now part of their growing network
  • And a range of players, organisers, and brands all pushing the sport forward

Padel’s growing fast, and nights like this show exactly why.

The BeLucky Community

Massive credit to BeLucky.

We caught up again with Brad and Will, and it just reinforced why we’ve partnered with them for our launch event.

They get it.

They’re building something bigger than just sessions and bookings.

They’re building a community, which is everything to us.

Looking ahead: Beaulieu Padel

This night wasn’t just a tournament.

It was a glimpse of what’s coming.

On May 3rd, we’re bringing everything together at Beaulieu Padel Club:

  • Competition
  • Community
  • And the official introduction of Padel Source

And if this event showed us anything, it’s that the demand is there.

Final thoughts

Padel’s growing.

But more importantly the people in it care.

About the game.
About the community.
About doing things properly.

And that’s exactly what we’re building with Padel Source.
